CEVA Logistics is one of the world’s leading logistics companies, providing end-to-end design, implementation and operational capabilities in freight forwarding, contract logistics, transportation management and distribution management. In order to better protect its valuable cargo against the growing threats of theft, vandalism and terrorism - and to comply with increasingly stricter transportation regulations, CEVA realized that a top-notch Central Monitoring Surveillance system would have to be implemented, and subsequently conducted rigorous head to head testing of several Digital Surveillance products.

Each CEVA site locations presented particular security challenges with regards to structure, size and complexity. All sites needed to be globally central monitored by three SOPs Centers located in Miami Fl., Houston, TX., and Dallas, TX. All three monitoring center need to have virtual matrix wall setup and capable of monitoring all site locations. And each CMS need to serve as a redundant SOPs to each other.

Unisight's head end equipment and remote capabilities easily overcame all the difficulties and the solution proved to have the highest overall level of effectiveness and reliability. The systems not only provided central monitoring real time videos feeds for all site locations on their virtual matrix wall, CMS stations, management site stations, and remote technical team stations, but also made the available of the archival footage captured by Unisights' systems for centralized management and security and allowing for easy and convenient review of reported incidents. Unisight thru its integrators works to insure all software and hardware requirements are met and implemented. With Unisight's enterprise platform, it provided very intuitive software features and tools for the integrators to implement and maintain such a large scale installation. The ability to consolidate experienced personnel in key monitoring locations, has greatly reduced the need for human guards, and has increased the scope of security by reducing policy errors.
